The Easter Bunny made his annual visit to the house, consumed some carrots, and left copious amounts of candy behind as payment. He’s tricky, though – he hides the candy, presumably to occupy us for long enough for him to escape before we discover the missing carrots. Foiled again!

If there’s one thing Kyle and Ian agree on, it’s that knock knock jokes are HILARIOUS. Now if they could just figure out how to tell one.
Kyle: Knock Knock!
Ian: Who’s there?
Kyle: Bow tie!
Ian: Bow tie who?
Kyle: Bow tie…IN THE TOILET!!
(uncontrollable laughter ensues)
Ah, to be seven again.
As I was walking out the door this morning, this exchange took place:
Me: Bye Kyle! Have fun at school! Be good!
Kyle: Okay Daddy! Have fun at work! Be good!
This year we decided to have a combined birthday party for Kyle and Ian with all of their friends. We rented out Gymquest, a nearby gymnastics center that also does birthday parties.
We began with a party for Kyle with all of his friends. There was food, cake, and lots of presents.
After Kyle’s party, we moved into the gym for 45 minutes of absolute chaos. The combined energy of 32 caked-up kids is a sight to behold.
We ended the day with a birthday party for Ian with all of his friends.
