Morton Arboretum

Today we had the most beautiful weather we have had all year, and we took advantage of it by visiting Morton Arboretum.

Time for a snack.

This is a solid stone ball. It's sitting over flowing water so you can spin it with your hands even though it weighs many hundreds of pounds.

Why isn’t the central vac working?

Oh. That’s why.

For the record, that’s a lego, and it is too big to fit down the vacuum hose, so it was clearly crammed directly in the port by a certain individual who shall remain nameless (his name rhymes with “Ian”). Unfortunately, our staff crime scene photographer, Kyle, wasn’t on call that day, so we will have to find some other means of proving the unnamed individual’s guilt.

Kyle graduates from Kindergarten

Kyle is now officially a first grader! His Kindergarten graduation was this morning at the school. The kids came in, sang a couple of songs, then received their diplomas.
