For my birthday, Katra and the boys made party hats for all of us. Each one was unique and special, and Ian took charge of making sure we all wore the correct hat.

Just when we thought it was safe to go out to our yard, we were invaded by PIRATES!
They swung in with sinister grins on their faces...
They rode in on sinister-looking anthropomorphic trains...
They quickly hoisted their skull-and-crossbones flag and began to survey the landscape.

Kyle graduated from preschool today. The ceremony began with several songs, which Kyle sang most enthusiastically:
